Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PrepLab in any way — including browsing the public catalog, downloading free lessons, or making a purchase — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Accounts
You may create a PrepLab account using your email and a password, or by signing in with Google. Email verification is required before you can access purchased or subscribed content. You agree to keep your account credentials confidential and to use a single account per person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
An account is personal to one tutor. Access to purchased or subscribed material follows the account holder, not an organisation: where several tutors at a language school or corporate training team teach from PrepLab material, each needs their own account and their own purchase or subscription. See Content and Intellectual Property below.
PrepLab may suspend or disable accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or attempt to circumvent access controls.
Purchases and Subscriptions
PrepLab offers two ways to access paid lesson materials: buying individual lessons one at a time, or taking a subscription that grants access to the full published catalog while it is active.
Three plans are offered: Monthly, 6-Month and 12-Month. The Monthly plan renews automatically each month until you cancel it. The 6-Month and 12-Month plans are one-time payments that unlock access for that period and do not auto-renew; when the period ends, access simply stops unless you choose to buy again. Current pricing is shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
All payments are processed by WayForPay, a third-party payment processor based in Ukraine. PrepLab does not store your card details; WayForPay's own terms apply to each transaction. While your subscription is active you may access any published lesson on the platform. When your subscription expires or is canceled you retain access only to lessons you have purchased individually.
Refunds
Lesson materials are digital goods delivered immediately. Once a signed download or view URL has been issued for a lesson file, the purchase is non-refundable, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise — for example the statutory rights of consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, or where the file delivered was faulty or not as described.
If you think a charge is wrong, write to [email protected] with the date and the amount and we will look into it.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current paid period; you continue to have full catalog access until the period you have already paid for ends. Failed or canceled WayForPay transactions are not charged.
Content and Intellectual Property
All lesson materials on PrepLab — including PDFs, Miro and Canva boards, and any supporting resources — are owned by PrepLab and its contributing educators and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Your purchase of an individual lesson, or your active subscription, grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials in your own teaching practice with your own students. Redistribution, resale, sublicensing, republishing, public posting, and sharing of signed content URLs are prohibited.
What the license allows. You may print, email, or display the student-facing materials to the students you personally teach, with no limit on how many of your own students receive them. You may adapt a lesson for your own teaching — shortening it, changing names in a roleplay, or retiming a stage.
What the license does not allow. The license is personal to one tutor and one account. You may not pass materials to another tutor, share your account, or resell them in any form. Where several tutors at a language school or a corporate training team teach from PrepLab material, each tutor needs their own account and their own purchase or subscription.
Branding. PrepLab branding — the logo, the name, and any brand marks — must remain intact on every PDF, board, and design you use or pass to a student. You may adapt the content around it; you may not remove or obscure the branding.
Acceptable Use
You agree to the following restrictions when using PrepLab:
- Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content through automated means.
- Do not share accounts, credentials, or signed content URLs with anyone else.
- Do not pass lesson materials to another tutor, or resell them in any form.
- Do not remove or obscure PrepLab branding from any material you use or share.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, paywalls, or any access control.
- Do not reverse-engineer the service or its protected resources.
Disclaimers
The PrepLab service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. PrepLab does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Lesson materials are pedagogical aids intended to support experienced tutors. They are not certified curriculum and are not a substitute for your own professional teaching judgment or for any qualification required by your local jurisdiction.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PrepLab and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. PrepLab's aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the total amount you have paid to PrepLab in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, where PrepLab is operated from, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from your use of the service will be brought before the competent courts of Ukraine.
Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country you live in. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the statutory rights that law gives you regardless of what is written here.
Before starting any formal process, please write to us at [email protected] — most issues are resolved in a single exchange.
Changes to These Terms
PrepLab may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version published on this page is always the one in force. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email or an in-product notice before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Who You Are Contracting With
PrepLab is run by two English teachers based in Ukraine, each registered separately as an individual entrepreneur (ФОП). When you buy a lesson or take a subscription, your contract is with the PrepLab operators jointly, and either of us can deal with any question about it.
Registered names and entrepreneur registration numbers are available on request from [email protected], and are provided before purchase to any customer who asks.
